Victor Osimhen is reportedly close to finalizing a €100 million ($109 million) deal with Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) to join from Napoli.

Both Chelsea and Arsenal had shown interest in signing the 25-year-old forward, recognizing their need for enhanced attacking capabilities. Despite this, PSG’s pursuit appears to be gaining significant traction.

Following Kylian Mbappe’s transfer to Real Madrid this summer, PSG has freed up financial resources, enabling them to actively seek reinforcements for their offensive lineup.

According to Italian source SPORT Mediaset, the negotiations are at a pivotal stage. The agent of Victor Osimhen, Roberto Calenda, has traveled to Paris for direct discussions with PSG.

These talks have reportedly yielded very positive outcomes, potentially dealing a significant blow to Chelsea and Arsenal’s hopes of signing the Nigerian striker.
