Real Madrid captain Nacho has announced his departure from the club, concluding a 23-year tenure marked by 26 trophies. Nacho is departing Real Madrid to join Saudi Arabian club Al-Qadsiah.

The 34-year-old Spanish defender joined Real Madrid’s youth academy at the age of 10 and made 364 appearances after debuting for the senior team in 2012. His final match was a 2-0 victory in the Champions League final against Borussia Dortmund earlier this month.

Nacho, currently with the Spanish national team for Euro 2024, is expected to sign with Saudi Arabian club Al-Qadsiah. “It has been months of reflection, indecision and doubts, but I come to tell you that I need to live one last and different experience with my family, and this is the perfect time,” said Nacho
