Jean-Clair Todibo has signed with West Ham, taking a significant step forward in his career. The Hammers confirmed the transfer on Saturday, securing the French center-back after his strong performances at Nice.

Todibo arrives at West Ham on loan, with a mandatory €40 million buyout clause that will make the move permanent at the end of the season. His transition to the Premier League follows an impressive run in Ligue 1, where he showcased his defensive skills.

Barcelona also stands to gain from the deal, earning €8 million next season due to their 20% stake in Todibo’s future sale.

Expressing his excitement, Jean-Clair Todibo said, “I’m thrilled to sign for West Ham United. Playing in the Premier League, the best league in the world, is a dream come true. This is an incredible opportunity at a club with big ambitions and a clear vision under the new head coach.”

He added, “Now feels like the perfect time to join West Ham. Being in the heart of London, with such passionate fans, is something special. I can’t wait to wear the West Ham shirt and compete at the London Stadium in the Premier League.”
