Fiorentina have reached out to David de Gea to discuss a potential move, and the former Manchester United goalkeeper has outlined his salary requests.
The 33-year-old Spanish shot-stopper has not played a single minute of football in the last 14 months, having stepped back from the game after leaving the Red Devils on a free transfer at the end of June 2023.
Fiorentina are looking to replace Pietro Terracciano in Raffaele Palladino’s revamped squad. They have accepted an offer from Monza for the goalkeeper, allowing them to focus on bringing in a new shot-stopper.
According to Corriere dello Sport, Fiorentina have been in close contact with De Gea entourage to explore a possible deal this month, where he clearly laid out his requests.
The 33-year-old Spaniard asked for a one-year contract with an option for a second, worth €2m net plus €1m in add-ons in the first year, rising to €3m plus €1m in add-ons in the second.
