The Portuguese star unveiled his top picks for UEFA Champions League success, anticipating fierce competition among elite contenders in this year’s tournament.

As the eagerly awaited UEFA Champions League progresses to the Round of 16, Cristiano Ronaldo has shared his insights on the teams he believes have the strongest potential to clinch victory in this year’s competition.

Set to culminate at England’s iconic Wembley Stadium on June 1, the final promises a spectacle of the highest caliber, marking the eighth occasion the venue hosts the pinnacle of European club soccer.

Expressing confidence in Manchester City’s capabilities, Ronaldo acknowledged their “good chance” to replicate last season’s success. Manager Pep Guardiola’s side secured the trophy with a 1-0 victory over Inter Milan in Istanbul, a triumph sealed by a second-half goal from Spanish midfielder Rodri.

“I think Manchester City has a great chance of winning the Champions League again this season. I hope not [they don’t win], but I think they have a chance.”  Cristiano Ronaldo

While Ronaldo’s former team, Real Madrid, currently occupies the second spot in La Liga, they face a stern test against RB Leipzig in the Round of 16.

Bayern Munich, managed by Thomas Tuchel, is another contender in Ronaldo’s reckoning. The German side, currently in second place in the Bundesliga, boasts the goal-scoring prowess of England captain Harry Kane, adding to the intensity of the competition.
