Queens Park Rangers technical director and head of coaching Chris Ramsey has left the Championship side after a “review of their academy structure”.
The 61-year-old first joined the club in November 2014, taking charge of the first team for nine months in 2015.
Ramsey is the most recent manager to lead the Hoops in the Premier League.
“I have had a fantastic nine years at QPR and the club will always have a special place in my heart,” he told the club website.
Chairman Lee Hoos added: “Chris has been a great servant to the club. I cannot thank him enough for his incredible hard work, dedication and guidance.
“However, as we thoroughly rationalise everything we do, and following very amicable discussions with Chris, it is felt this move is in the best interests of all parties. He will always remain a friend of the club.”
Ramsey arrived at the club as head of player development in November 2014 and took charge of first-team affairs between February and November 2015.
He was named technical director in 2016 before taking on his most recent role in 2018.
