Bukayo Saka appeared confident about Arsenal’s chances of beating Manchester City at the Etihad on Sunday, March 31.
After booking a place in the UEFA Champions League quarterfinals with a victory against Porto, Arsenal’s next match will be against Premier League title rivals City.
Saka scored a penalty during Arsenal’s shoot-out win against Porto after the round of 16 encounter ended 1-1 on aggregate.

He was full of belief when asked on TNT Sports whether his team could beat the Premier League defending champions, despite just one point separating the two sides at the top of the table.
“Yeah, we can,” Saka said. “We can. Right now, we’re top of the league and we’re into the quarter-finals of the Champions League, and we’re going into the international break.
“So that gives us a lot of momentum, a lot of belief that we can go to the Etihad and get a good result going into these games.”
Arsenal’s victory gave them a place in the UEFA Champions League quarter-finals for the first time since 2010.
City, Real Madrid, Paris Saint-Germain, Bayern Munich and Barcelona are among the other teams to progress, with the draw for the quarter-finals set to take place at 11am UK time on Friday, March 15.
Saka admitted it wasn’t his “best performance personally” but shared his delight at finally getting the chance to play in the Champions League quarterfinals.
