Since his $45 million transfer from Ajax to Manchester United in September 2020, Van de Beek has experienced limited playing time, making only six Premier League starts. Recently, Manager Erik ten Hag emphasized that a change in environment was crucial for the player to rejuvenate his career.

Eintracht Frankfurt has reportedly agreed to pay a loan fee to Manchester United and will cover a significant portion of Van de Beek’s wages during the loan period. The potential permanent transfer fee has been set at 12.1 million dollars, with an additional 3.3 million dollars in potential add-ons.

Despite having made 62 appearances for Manchester United across all competitions, scoring twice, Van de Beek’s loan spell at Everton in 2022 and a serious knee injury that kept him out for the second half of the last season have contributed to his limited playing time.
